FootMate, Inc. ("FootMate," "we," "us," or "our") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the FootMate mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

• Device & Usage Data: App version, operating system, crash logs, anonymous usage metrics.
• Foot Images: Photos you upload for foot scanning (medial, heel, top-down views).
• Derived Profile Data: Measurements (arch height, width, alignment) generated from your images.

2. How We Use Your Information

• On-Device Analysis: All image processing and foot-profile generation occur locally on your device.
• User Experience: To power your fit recommendations, store your foot profile, and display results.
• Improvements: Aggregate, anonymized data may be used to optimize App performance and features.

3. Data Storage & Retention

• On-Device: Your raw images and derived profile remain on your device by default.
• Optional Backup: If you opt in, encrypted backups may be stored in your personal iCloud account.
• We do not store or access backups on our servers.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

• Third-Party Services: We use RevenueCat for subscription management and error-reporting tools (e.g., Crashlytics) to monitor app health. These services do not receive your raw images or personal profile data.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or court order.

5. Security

We employ industry-standard security measures, including data encryption in transit and at rest (for backups), secure App-to-RevenueCat communication, and best-practice iOS sandboxing.

6. Your Choices & Rights

• Access & Correction: You can view, export, or delete your foot profile in the App Settings.
• Opt-Out of Analytics: Toggle anonymous usage analytics off in Settings.
• Subscription Management: Manage or cancel subscriptions via your Apple ID account settings.

7. Children's Privacy

FootMate is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, please contact us to delete that data.

8. International Transfers

Your data remains on your device or in your iCloud. If any data is transferred to services hosted outside your country (e.g., crash logs to analytics servers), we ensure appropriate safeguards.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We'll post changes with a new "Effective Date." Continued use of the App after changes signifies your acceptance.
